Speaker 1:

In my hand today is a sledgehammer. I'm going to use that sledgehammer to demolish a very detrimental mindset that you may have and still encourage your socks off in less than seven minutes. Let's see if I can pull it off. Thank you, welcome back to the All Purpose Pod for an all-purpose life. Wherever you are and however you're listening to the Inspiration Station and they call me Mr U. Thank you again for listening and making us part of your day. I'm going to do what I said I was going to do in less than seven minutes. I want to demolish a very detrimental mindset that I see in so many people hearing from you guys and also, hopefully, encourage your socks off in less than seven minutes. So let's go.

Speaker 1:

Number one you have something to offer. I know I hear that even when I say it to many of you throughout our social media platforms and all of our listening platforms, but you have something to offer to this world around us. Your story is unique, don't get me wrong, but someone has a similar story to yours, maybe almost an identical story, in a different part of the world. If only one person sees your story or hears your story and gets activated and gets encouraged in the area. Guess what it's worth it. You do have something special to offer. It is unique, it is different, but you're not the only one that's dealing with that same thing. Somebody else is also. The reason why you can't see it is because you're in isolation. You've got to get out of there. Even though it's your life story number two, even though it's your life story, even though it's your situation and you kind of have become at a place where you want to own it, you don't have the right to withhold it. What does that mean?

Speaker 1:

I always tell you, guys I'm a firm believer that we are a very collective community. Despite the divisions being fed to us through media and other outlets and channels, we are a community Whenever we go to a place where we come together in some kind of corporate connection or activity or event. Together we feed each other. What we speak and what we share, what we give, what we offer, what we receive, is all reciprocal and it helps all of us to grow individually and collectively as a community. We are a collective community. What you have to offer, even if you think it's your story, it's your life what we have to offer is a blessing to somebody else. I truly believe this because when I first started this podcast, I shared so much of my personal life, to the detriment of some personal relationships. I shared my life out here on social media, on this podcast platform, and I heard back from many of you hundreds and thousands of you, as a matter of fact who said how much it blessed them to hear my story and how much it helped them get free from some areas in their life. So we can't share enough, we can't help each other enough. We are a community and we actually need each other. That's really, really important.

Speaker 1:

And number three please I know we do this all the time and I think it's just a habit now, especially with the media, social media world that we're living in right now Please stop looking for a mixed bag of insights and wisdoms and help from other people, because most times we have a bag full of information and knowledge but we never go back into it to use it. We just have it there as some kind of security blanket. Stop looking for a mixed bag of insights and help from all these gurus and so-called subject matter experts. Just quit that. Actively and I'm emphasizing because it's really, really important Actively and consistently.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to say it again actively and consistently support those who you have found, that have been helping you, that have been encouraging you, that have been a support to you in what you're dealing with in your life, not the five and tens and hundreds, all the influence out here. I'm talking about the one or two or three individual areas, whether it be a podcast, whether it be a blog, whether it be some kind of areas, whether it be a podcast, whether it be a blog, whether it be some kind of website, whether it be somewhere you have access to a person who actually, speaking your language, actively and consistently support them. Forget about trying to chase everybody else down. If you're feeling something that's authentic coming from these people and you feel like it's real and it's genuine, support them consistently. Support them actively. If they ask feeling something that's authentic coming from these people and you feel like it's real and genuine, support them consistently. Support them actively. If that's for something financial and you feel led to do so, support them financially. Stay in that lane.

Speaker 1:

Don't try to find all these other conglomerations of people who say they're going to help you or offer this kind of so-called self-help. Actively and consistently support those that have been authentic and genuine for you. It has been a blessing for you. Don't ignore them. Try to find five or 10 more like them. Support the ones that you have actively and consistently and honestly.

Speaker 1:

You never know this and I'm saying this from my personal standpoint. But hear me on this one they might need you as much as you need them. I'm gonna say it again for those in the back, these folks that you found to be authentic and genuine and consistent they might need you just as much as you need them. Number one you got something to offer. Your story is unique. Actively share it, be encouraged by it and the impact it can have on somebody else's life. And two, even though it's your story and your situation and you're actually knee-deep in it, you don't have the right to withhold it. We're a collective community and we actually need and we feed from each other. And lastly, stop looking for the mixed bag of insights and wisdom from so-called self-help gurus. Actively and consistently support those who have been authentic and genuine to you. Hope that helps. Less than seven minutes, like I promised. Hold it to the blessing to you guys. Have a great day. Thanks for listening. We'll see you next time.
